Ceiling fan installation is one of the most common handyman requests, and for good reason — a properly installed fan can improve comfort, circulation, and even help lower energy costs. iHandy provides safe and professional ceiling fan installation so you can enjoy your new fixture without the hassle or risk of doing it yourself. What’s Included: -Removal of an existing ceiling fan or light fixture in the same location -Assembly and installation of one new ceiling fan -Proper mounting to an existing fan-rated ceiling box -Balancing and testing to ensure smooth, quiet operation -Cleanup of the immediate work area (old fan or fixture will be placed where you request for disposal) What’s Not Included (most can be added for an additional fee): -Installing a fan where no electrical box currently exists -Upgrading or installing a fan-rated ceiling box where one is missing -Adding or relocating wiring, switches, or dimmers -Installing remote-control kits or smart-home wiring beyond what's included with the fan itself -Ceiling repairs, paint touch-ups, or patching after installation -Installation on ceilings over 14 feet high (this can be done but please call for pricing) -Hauling away or disposing of old fans, fixtures, or packaging (available for an additional fee) -Trips for additional materials that were not communicated before the scheduled appointment
